Hello, my name is Melinda Marie. I was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I enjoy working out, sharing positivity and creating photos/videos. My love for photography and videography first came to me at a young age. Sharing photos allows me to tell my story. Photos are a way for me to express how I feel. They can also be interpreted in so many different ways, which I absolutely admire.
I love travelling this beautiful world we live in. My boyfriend and I packed a backpack and traveled to Southeast Asia for two months. During the trip, I was blessed to visit Thailand and the Philippines. I reflected on my life and all that I was grateful for. I was surrounded by beautiful scenery and met so many kind-hearted people along the way. I wanted to capture it all. I was blown away with simple living and being at peace with who I was becoming. I have never had so much clarity returning back to reality. I continue to look back at the photos I took and the travel videos I have made. I am forever grateful for what we were able to experience together. I knew that I wanted to capture moments for other people to hold onto. I fell in love with capturing authentic moments that brought people so much joy. The trip relit a spark in me to pursue a passion of mine. I also knew that I wanted to share our moments with you through canvases. I would love if you checked out my canvas store.
Another passion of mine includes spending time in nature. Nature has been a huge part of me discovering me. It might sound bizarre but it’s true. I have suffered with depression in the past like many people have. I came to a realization that life is so precious and can be taken from us so quickly. It is was one of the many reasons why I gave up a “good paying job” to pursue a passion and ultimately be happy.

This is my beautiful girl Rawrey Awrey. We adopted her at just 3 months old. She is now almost 6 months. She is hilarious, loving and kind just like her dad. She is MY world. ♡
